Our Solution
Our works extended to the supply of 3mm recessed fixed aluminium cladding, copings, flashings, trims and soffits across the two buildings, these were designed with a mix of traditional brickwork along with contemporary aluminium cladding with the inset balconies finished in a darker polyester power, RAL 7021. The external cladding was finished in a contrasting specialist powder produced with a textured coating, which gives the appearance of and feels similar to a natural stone finish. The north tower which is striking and dominates this first phase of the development has its north eastern corner finished in traditional masonry, whilst the remaining three corners are constructed using the stone effect cladding. At ground floor level we have integrated our aluminium soffits and larger format cladding panels with other elements including curtain wall and louvered areas serving the commercial units.

Insight
Mitre Yard is a landmark residential development set to redefine this West London regeneration zone. Located on the Grand Union Canal within the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation area, this will be one of the most dynamic and best connected new residential districts in the UK, which will see much improved rail links and reduced journey times between London and the rest of the country.
Mitre Yard will not only offer a unique and luxurious lifestyle opportunity, but will be at the forefront of the transformation of a visionary masterplan that will generate a growth zone of unprecedented potential for a decade to come.
This first phase consists of two buildings a Southern ten storey block bordering the Canal and a 21 storey tower with a lower connected annex positioned on the northern side of the site. Although a second phase is due to commence on the other side of the main road following completion of this particular phase, these are likely to be the first of many luxury new apartments which will be built to accommodate people wanting to commute between these two major centres.
